Well, since it been pretty dead around here I'll tell everyone about my weekend. Well, I guess first I should go back to last weekend. Since Lara is having a hard time keeping Old Red straight on the road I decide, I need to get the bald rear tires replace, so I stop in a local tire shop and setup an appointment for the following Saturday, because the needed to order the tires, and I couldn't make it back in any sooner. So, that puts us up to this Saturday, Lara and I pull into the Tire shop, and I notice there is another Cougar sitting out in the parking lot with 4 new tires. As I'm walking by I say to Lara I really hope 2 of those tires are not mine. Go, in sign the paper work, everything appears to be good, and leave to go to the bank. Just before I go into the bank, I get a call saying that can't find my tires for me anywhere. I told them to look out in the parking lot at the spruce green cougar with 4 new tires, along with a few other choice words. So, I go back in to pick up the car, and they tell me they will have the tires rush shipped for Monday, I tell them that's great, but how late are the open. Of course they are only open till 6pm, and I can't get there till 7pm, since I have over an hour drive to get home everyday. So, now I have to take the car back in this coming Saturday, Dec 24th, which is just going to **** up my day and all the other things going on that day.
Fast forward to Sunday evening, I go out to hop in the car to meet my brother at the Comedy club in Easton, and what do I find.... 8 eggs were thrown at the house and my car. I was steaming, luckly I had some good drink and laughs at the Comedy club. I recommend it highly. To wrap up the weekend, Lara is driving us back from the comedy club, in the MTX, her first time driving a stick in the snow, and just before we got home she took a corner a little fast, and skids around a corner and up over a curb. Luckly the only damage appears to be a small dent in the tiny lip that's on the factor wheels, and Lara hurt her thumb because the steering wheel jerked back when she hit the curb and some how ended up bending her thumb back.
Oh, and this evening we spent 2 hours in the dark and cold(10'F) attempting to clean the frozen egg off the house. Don't worry, I got the egg off the car a soon as I saw it, and ran down to the car wash just to make sure.
Anybody else want to share.;)
