Alrighty, its that time again! I know its kinda short notice, but its starting to get chilly out, and we need to get together for some modding fun!!
Quite a few new people joining lately and would love for a big showing.

I will come up with something for the food and drinks again, just bring the usual $10 to cover expenses.

Meet will start around 10 am and go until you all get tired!!

Plenty of parking and tons of tools, so come on down and bring your mods!!
Please PM me with what you want to do, some things may be more difficult than others and need a lot of time.

I will give directions by a PM only and will give my cell number by a PM only.

We are looking forward to having another great meet and hope to see you all there!!!

May or may not be able to make it - that is up in the air until I find out specifically when this guy is arriving.

All i'd like to do for mods is cut off my ricer muffer from the Saturn and install a quiet one (have to go buy one somewhere, along with an adapter).

Might do the front rotors/pads but that is pretty simple.

You meets are always a great time Greg!

Thanks Tony for posting that! Yeah its a straight shot on the Mass Pike to Exit 6 - 291 Springfield Exit.
I'll send you directions to my house from that exit, if you can make it. Let me know!

Tony, I should be good with tools, but maybe bring the jack stands, just in case!!

AND show up whenever you can, JUST BE HERE!!!! I'll be here ALL day and night, so whenever you are free, come on down!!

I should be able to make it, but I won't be able to get there until around 3:00. I have no new mods to do so I'd be available to lend a hand to someone if they needed it. I'll let you know for sure if I'm coming by the middle of next week.

I'm new to the scene, but i'm gonna try and make it out to meet people. I don't have anything right now to mod, cept for i plan to pick up an amp if anyone wants to help me install it.

CougarXR02
10-05-2005, 06:15 AM
we can definately do an amp install. do you already have trha sub?? or are you going to use the amp to drive your regular speakers??

tr0nic
10-05-2005, 01:39 PM
He is picking up the amp that I am selling at the meet... the 2400 watt majestic amp.

aircougar
10-05-2005, 01:39 PM
If it rains...it rains!!! There will be plenty of shelter to hang out in if it rains. Hopefully it won't come down like last time! We almost got flooded out of the carport!

Bring whatever mods you want, just have everything that you would need to go along with installing them. I've got plenty of tools, but I'm running low on extra supplies for different install stuff.

CONNartist
10-05-2005, 02:10 PM
yea i'm picking up the amp there, and i got a pair of dual subs, already inclosed, if anyones been to best buy in the audio department, u probably know which ones i'm talking about, the ones that got the neon on em, just out of curiosity, what type of install kit should i get? cuz i'm guessing that the amp will be just that, an amp. Should i just go cheap and pick up one of those Scosche kits, or is there something better to go with?

tr0nic
10-05-2005, 03:01 PM
Normally i'd say you get what you pay for... but a box/speakers like that don't need $100 worth of wiring. Go to walmart and get a scosche kit, 4ga... that is what the amp requires. Also, a 4ga to 4ga inline fuse block - i'll explain the fuse block when I give you the amp.

CougarXR02
10-06-2005, 01:17 AM
agree with tim on the cheap install kit, you could get away with the 8 guage kit, but try to get the 4 guage kit. they have the fuses at walmart with the scosche kits.

CONNartist
10-06-2005, 02:35 AM
yea that wat i'm gonna do, the subs are only temps they were on sale for like 80 so i was like wat the hell, when they blow, and i have a real job i'll actually put some money into it. One other quick question, will this all hook up with the stock deck? if not i got a pioneer that i can through in there, but i'd just rather keep the original in there for now.

SassyCat2002
10-06-2005, 06:56 AM
You can use the stock radio. Just tap into your rear speakers for the Amp. That is how I did mine. Nice easy install that way.

I am likely to show up :) Might bring Beth with me (if she wants to go) Josh, I will have the ST200 for you.

I have no mods to do. If you need a hand (or a tool) ask and I will see what I can do

vodfan
10-06-2005, 06:56 PM
weather depending, i'd like to rip my front brakes apart and lather the shoes with anti squeak goo... and try to find out why they don't stop as quickly as they should.

also getting new front strut mounts in tommorrow(should be in) and have new bearing for my front gc's to put in. that is an easy job however, doesn't even require pulling the struts out to change.

oo, still have that millenium front sitting here if anyone wants it, and some 6.5" ( i think) lcd's in visors (stock, covered in black fabric)

Apparently it is most likely going to rain Saturday.

I will still have this meet if enough of you still plan on coming.

If worst comes to worst, we can all work on cleaning and reassembling some of my SVT motor, that is if there is way too much rain.

Or I can give a lesson in welding!!

Please PM me if you still plan to come.

If there are like 2 people coming, then I WILL cancel and a rain date will be made soon after.

Sami, Jen and I will still be there. Probably around 4-5.
