Update: As I expected I saw Adam's cougar today as I leaving Staples in Grove City. He drove right by me, so I gave my car a little extra rev as I was pulling way, and he turned around a followed me over to Home Depot. Nice guy, we talked for a few minutes, I told him check out the forums. Apparently, he was aware of TeamNECO, but not newcougar.org. The car looks pretty good in person, the color is hot, but the body work and paint overall could have been done a little nicer, but he said he plans to get it repainted. Hopefully he will hope on here and join the crew.

$50k in mods? Hmmm, doubt it.

If he did, wow, that's just flat out dumb. No way in hell.

not 50k in mods, but 50k invested, that would include the cost of the car. So, if you add everything up I could see it getting that high. I'm also going to guess and say its been $50k total in everything he has done for the car, ever, not just the current setup. For example he has had two different sets for wheels, and two different CF hoods. Also he claims everything has been "professionally installed", labor is expensive.

So his 50k statement has to be read into a little bit, but not completely dishonest.

Is he adding up the interest he paid on top of the principle? That cars what I call a horrible investment.

I don't think it is that bad. I mean I wouldn't call it my favorite either, but I have seen much worse. I actually really like the color. At least it doesn't have a type r sticker on it or anything like that. Adam, you did what you liked man and I think you did a good job with it.

Well he will be a paraplegic if he ever gets in an accident that requires the 5point seat harnesses to hold him into his seat with any amount of force. His spine will be compressed due to an incorrect installation. Other than that, not my style, but looks like a lot of quality work was put into it.
