Well go stuck in the snow this morning and tore the clutch up. I hope its the clutch anyway. It gives an excuse tobuy a spec 2. It was kinda funny after i got over being pissed.

Should of went with the Spec 1. The 2 is made of Kevlar which they say is easy to burn up or maybe in your case.... "shattered"

You'll probably find that your differential is broken and your clutch is fine.

yea... when u depress the clutch pedal do u get any resistance or feel as if the clutch is being let in?
should def let a shop look at your car b4 u go spending money on a spec stage 2 which is easier to tear up as aforementioned

That'll do it...
because your drivers side axle popped out, your open differential "thought" that wheel was not getting any traction, soo... all power went to that wheel, thus making the passenger wheel NOT spin.
Your lucky it was something easy to fix, be nice to your cougar next time ;)

For the record I shattered my clutch plates in my truck a
few years ago, it is possible. Ford junk, stock clutch only
lasted 25 years of horrible abuse and off-roading.

The mechanic told me It might be a good idea to Start looking for a tranny. But I should have some time left on this on and Im being nice to her. No more winter. The Monte Carlo will take care of me in the snow.. Thanks for the input.
