This is a Roll CAll to see who is actually here in the northwest. I know Tad and Goldie are here, but who else is here.
Everyone who is a Cougar owner and lives in the Pacific Northwest just post in here.
Come on lets make some noise

Is that the way it is around here now? Just a roll call post every month or so? That's so sad. :) 7 years with the Cougar, and I'm still here, go figure.
Lostracer, you need to give us at least a couple weeks to reply, geez. At which point, you will still be able to 'rest your case' I'm sure.

No, I am actually trying to get some interest in this chapter, but so far, no bites. This roll call is another attempt at it. But so far not allot is happeneing. If you or anyone else has any ideas on how to get something going I am willing to listen to them.

I'm a temporary member once a year! Does that count???!!!!
Coming to Seattle at least once a year and hope to see more of you next time (no offence Shawn, but where is everyone?)
Have a great Christmas people!
PS I want to see as many cats as poss because we have such a lousy colour range in UK!!! FCOC UK members loved Shawn's cat with the 2 tone interior. Would be good to take pics with a few lined up.

Shawn - the pic of me in the driver's seat of your cat is now my avatar and much admired. Ash gold went down a treat in colour starved UK!
Happy holidays everyone.;)

That made me smile. And I am shocked there isn't red over there since the color red is so prevelant in british society.

Snowboarder

for painting? black does it for me! My car colour scheme is Red, black and silver! all good colours together in any of the combonations you can think of doing them!

Hello!
So, I was just doin some thinkin about how much of a pain this seems to be to plan out this event. Then I thought of how it never was so hard back when I was in IL. *THEN* I realized oh yeah.. that's because we had active presidents who would plan a meet and then whoever could make it would show up instead of everyone trying to have a consensus and blah blah blah. We'd usually have a thread to vote in and then decide from there.
So, someone should do that and I nominate Goldie and her new tattoo.
So, I guess i put that post in the wrong thread.. heh
whoops
Goldie

I think that would help too :) and now that there are a couple new seattle people that have popped up, maybe we'll actually be able to get a great location up there :)
Snowboarder
03-28-2006, 08:25 PM
see I don;t really think it's the planning thats hard, because like I said if I can't make it don't let that stop you guys, I think it's more a lack of location! as well as in IL you guys didn't have such a huge ass chapter with very few people I don't believe! Because see who is going to drive down to say oregon for a day when it takes them 40 bux on gas and only has 2 other people there? Not many and that makes the meets way harder to plan around knowing this! I agree we should get either 1 or 2 new chapter presidents though as the 1 that we currently have is on my MSN but never even talks about his Cougar, let alone never ever visits the boards! But yah once we get a good location down then it will be easy! I honestly think though that if we want to do a good sucessful meet that people will be excited about it's going to end up being either at bazzy999 or w/e's haha or in the late spring when it's warm in a parking lot in seattle!
Bazzy999
03-31-2006, 03:03 AM
Maybe we can go camping....no thats silly....isn't it ??? Anyways there's enough space and ample parking by Golden Gardens by the beach....just a suggestion .... lol ( stupid yellow bumpers )
I'm fine with something at golden gardens, but depending upon what you guys wanna do it might limit us slightly

oh wow, i remember when that happened. I was in like 8th grade sitting in history class's I thought someone was kicking my chair. Then i realized it was a earth quake. Funny part is, now get this, when the earth quake happened. My teacher grabbed his Blazers jacked, pork ryhns(**Spelling**) and ran out of the class room leaving all the kids in his dust! HAHA!! talk about a good responsible teacher!
but hey i was on the news so thats cool! :-D

dang.... heh I was in my current world problems class, and we had a sub that day, that was OBVIOUSLY new at subbing... we all ran out of the classroom onto the football field, and he was like "uh, uhm... i think you're supposed to get under your desks...." we were like wtf... no...

meets - yeah, when we can get everyone to agree to a time/location. Since everyone is so spread out, we have a tougher time than the chapters who cover maybe 100 miles instead of 400-500 miles.
If people want to come to portland, I would be happy to 'host' at my dad's place who has enough parking for dozens and a building a car or two could be pulled into.
the forum link points back to this section on NECO - so I'll have to check the link. newcougar coulda been re-arranged since I did it.

wow how did I miss another guy from BC, your officially number 2 for posting right now, there are others, but they never post anymore, I have them on MSN if you ever want to get a BC meet going I can contact them, I'm taking my air bag suspension out of the cougar soon as in like 2-3 weeks max, if you want to learn about the cougar suspension and drink some burrs. I'm in Surrey/Delta area! I'm also going to be replacing my broken sunroof in the next month or so seen as it started leaking and I have to tarp it right now!
Either way I have 2 cougars at my place right now and infinite knowledge on the platform that I've gathered over the past couple years if you ever need someone local to help you out. my e-mails also codywoodward@hotmail.com if you have MSN

Yah for sure man. I'd love to check out the airbag suspension system, haven't seen it in the cougar up front and personal before. If you need a hand with stuff be sure to let me know as well, I'm actually becoming a Mechanic right now at BCIT. If you want to see or help with a header install, let me know, I'm going one in the next couple of weeks.

haha I have a set of MSDS headers that have been sitting here for like a year and a half because I never ordered the hardware to install them... I can probably give you a hand when you do them though, just out of curiosity if you just started that program at BCIT, you wouldn't be in a class with a guy named Jeff Delage would you? He just started there this month for the same thing, he's my bestfriend thats why I wonder. amyways I see you added me on msn, so I'll talk to you on there.

Haha, yah I ordered the entire kit, with the high end ceramic metallic coating, with installation kit and MIL eliminators. Actually I started BCIT in October. But if your friend started mid December, then I'm literally looking into his classroom right now. If he started January 2nd, then I probably see him all the time in my shop. What's he look like? Any distinctive features? (It's kind of hard when everyones wearing coveralls.) Lol.

yah I think he started jan 2nd, I'm preety sure it was in january sometime anyways incase there was any other inlets since then, umm I dunno he's like 6' or so brown hair brown eyes most of the time has some sort of 5 o'clock shadow, average weight, all around a fairly average guy actually haha! He probably wears a hat all the time though atleast I'd imagine, because he likes his hats... 21 yrs old not really sure if theres anything distinctive about him though besides the fact that he can be a mouthy guy if you piss him off. actually theres a picture of him in the northwest website under past event pictures, hes the guy hanging out of my laser red car as we drive through the tunnel, goldie took the picture from her car, I think hes giving a giant thumbs up too...
