i just finished my 3L.....and my knowledge is fresh and now i want to help build another........anyone interested.........:evil:

how much total did the entire thing cost you? A good guestimate would be ncie. From gaskets, fluids, to the engine and headwork, basically all of it. Id love to do it next after my exterior is done.

well lets see
$500 used 02 3L from LKQ w/32k mi
$720 for the headwork(installed the st200 springs,valve job, and port matching 2.5 lim to 3l heads...this will vary from shop to shop)
$350 all the gaskets( fel-pro 2.5 gaskets and 3L gaskets and head bolts)
$100 for new fluids

~$1670 for that stuff

updated oil pan....$114
updated pickup....$30

svt UIM/LIM/TB

honestly it is easier to start collecting parts for the swap so its easier todo when the time comes todo, your not waiting on parts to come in

I would love to... however... I think my suspension needs some attention. My GC's have been abusing my struts for 50,000 miles and my summer tires are totaly bald!
