well, since you asked.......

during the winter will be to finish my interior and exterior cosmetic and audio/video crap. i've got 7 or 9 7-inch monitors, a 7-inch and a 10 inch touchscreen, 7 inch flip-out dvd headunit, carputer, 10 gauges, lots of fiberglass, lots of plasma discs (4 white 6 inchers, 6 blue 6 inchers, and 2 blue 12 inchers) 4 12 inch subs, 3 amps, more fiberglass, and maybe some fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view just to piss people off. as for the wxterior, i would like to finally get the passenger side in primer so the whole thing can go into paint. i am still trying to decide on whether i should go with a spoiler or without. and in the spring i am planning an engine swap...a supercharged, 3.0 hybrid with a 100-shot of n2o. i have everything to do all the winter stuff, it just needs to be done. as for the performance mods, i just need a donor engine and some of those internals to handle the new power. maybe some new axles would be nice if santa will get the hint

Here is my list of things to do...

Mold the widebody
Mold the rear bumper
Mold the tail lights
Finish shaving the handles
Install actuated lambo doors
Buil up 3L Engine with low compression internals
Piece together turbo kit using GT40R 80 a/r CH turbo
ATX to MTX swap
HMS Built tranny with stage 4 clutch, fidanza flywheel, cryo treated internals, slick shift forks, and coated kogbox.
Dual stage nitrous setup, 55 shot dry to spool turbo, 120 shot to walk all over the competition
Gut the interior, fiberglass over the rigid look of the trunk to make it look nice
Airbags (if Adam and Emelio can convince me haha)
Also stage 5 axles and short shifter

Well...
Finish building SVT motor after pulling stock motor and tranny
Install Motor with S/C and custom intercooler set-up
Get Cougar ready for paint in february
Get new set of 18" rims
Re-work interior a little
New audio set-up in trunk
Finish body work before paint
Make sure suspension is noise free before Motor install...

That's about it in a nutshell...

BTW Sami... I've been hearing that a Hybrid motor is not such a good idea for a F/I application. So I guess what I'm saying is either build a stronger motor with lower compression and boost it, or go for the Hybrid with higher Compression (or Hybrid and Nitrous) Instigator, I believe, just said something similar in a post in 2.5 L Performance section in one of Fordrule's posts.
I might be wrong, but check around.

I've got Z3 fenders, a Kami hood, and new headlights coming in the next couple weeks or so. Not a whole lot performance wise going on yet, but come tax refund time I'm getting full exhaust and GMK extension, maybe some SVT stuff if I've got the $$$. Also on the "maybe" is a BC2 kit and paint the whole car Nissan 350Z Daytona Blue. Thats a big "if" though.

Next winter is gonna be a full 3L (probably not a hybrid), with the possibility of opting for a Vortech S/C at a later time. But thats a LONG ways off though.

EDIT: I really need to look at where the threads are located before I post. I've got a nasty habit of clicking on a thread thru the link in hte main page, only to realize its in a "local" chapter that has nothing to do with me. :banghead: Sorry for the trolling.

Paint. I need to do something to get a chunk of change to fix the body and repaint the car. I've had damage on her that's been there for over a year now and it's pitiful.

Oh, transmission update: I worked on it over the weekend and think I fixed the problem. A month ago I was almost dry on tranny fluid, like the stick had a drop on the bottom. I tossed in a couple quarts and went on my way. Car ran better than before and shifted smoother too. Fast forward 2 week later and I was on the highway when everything started bucking & the light came on indicating a tranny issue.

I checked the fluid and it was overfull apparently. I drove on this for a few weeks because I didn't have the time or I was working on the g/f's car, so hopefully there was no damage done (I had a few lights during that time). I used a siphon since I didn't have a jack and sucked about 1 1/2qt. out of the top and it's right on the line now. I'll have to drive it on the highway for 20min to be sure tho. But I think I may have gotten it.

JS - When you are ready for paint, get in contact with either Sami or myself. We can set up an appointment for you to come to the shop and have an estimate with our body guy.

this could be a good thing or a bad thing, but my guy is from brockton...lives in attleboro now, but, he is FROM brockton.

greg, the enigine will be completely re-done with new internals and everything and a CR to match everything i am doing to it. once i am closer i will start to post more on it and ask for different opinions. the perdon who will be rebuilding my engine does it for a living for people who race in Busch series racing, so i think i was gonna give him some of the info demonsvt has on the car and let him marinate in that info and work his magic. but i do thank you for bringing that up.

bobby, hotcat has painted his car that color and it looks sick. of course thats what color my car was going to be, but with a little black in there too...i.e. two-tone

Talk to him on getting a price for a repaint w/some minor bodywork. I'll stick w/the same color.

If you could, throw out the fact I work at a sign shop & I'm a graphic designer. Maybe we can work something out if he needs something I can provide or get a discount on.

Thanks.

He will want to see the car face to face to gauge the amount of work he will have to do. Any business you two talk about, will be between the two of you.

He has very good pricing though.

i'll just tell yuo that b4 i knew him (so this was off the street pricing), to have a kit installed and molded along with some shaving, and a repaint of the stock black, he told me 2800. now you just want a repaint, and if any of the body work IS minor then he would throw that in.

he might accept some sort of payment schedule. like he would take the money for all the materials needed for prep and primer up front then the rmainder when primer is done, and then the same deal for the final paint stage.

I knew when I looked at his pics in the Calender selection gallery that color looks awful familiar.

I think I'll start off converting some of the interior peices first (some misc. interior trim), to kinda get the "feel" for the color. I'll probably throw a kink into the outside color with some smooth black vinyls, with a small little silver "outline" around the vinyl. With any luck, I'll have the color and kit on by CF2006 and show it off there.

I had no probs last year with 3 ft adn the stock bfgoodriches with 30k miles. Couldn't get any traction in the wet... but for snow they were fine for some reason. Descent handling snow car... although most don't drive it

Check out Ebay for Roush parts... Just type in Roush and lots of parts come up.Look through to find the Cougar body kits, and you will find they already come painted in the few colors that were available for the Roush editions, HOWEVER, the price is pretty high for each piece or the whole kit, but keep in mind they are ALREADY painted which saves tons of $$$ for prep and paint labor and time!!!

Not many colors to choose from on the ebay ones.. and the price is over $1k. color might not even match well either.

You can get the sides and rear on ebay, but not the fronts (which took me forever to find a set btw. lol)

Depending on what way I go soon, I may strip the kit off my car... but that's if I purchase a newer car.........

How much were you asking for the sides/pm with the details. Yeah, that was the problem I am having, shelling out alot of money when I can get a wide Body for alot less, i just don't want to go over the top and ruin it.

Well.... I have some Mustang Mods (yes, its NOT totalled... only $7600 in damages !)
I will post pictures when Demona comes back from the body shop. A Cobra bumper is being swapped on to replace the stock with visteon setup I had. Projector headlights will be going in place of the factory units.
Later this year I will be adding a limited slip out back with 3:73 gears (maybe 4:10's, depending if I stay NA or choose the SC option hehehe)

is your truck auto or stick ? With auto and Overdrive the difference on the highway will only be about 500 RPMs.

But if I go SC, im sticking to 3:73 . I wont need the extra gearing to pull hard.

With a 4.2 from an F150 (same block diff bore/stroke than my 3.8) a set of heads and a nice cam and a supercharger I may see 450 HP..

Thats when I get my vanity plate "GOTV6" muuuhahahahaha

I may also need wheelie bars at some point LOL:crazy:
