I have recently purchased web hosting and a domain. myneco.com. If your chapter would like to have a free subdomain chapter.myneco.com... Let me know. Here you wil have the space to put what you want on there. You can create custom pages, upload pictures and have javachat. Let me know by shooting me an E-mail at korywiesner@charter.net. Hopefully we can get the admins from each chapter to do this. There is no cost to anyone but me. I may elect to advertise in your chapter or I may not. i gotta pay for the hosting somehow. There are no fees. The hosting is paid up for one year so let's get things going. In the startup it may take a few days so be patient. Thanks

Hmm, I'm curious as to how many chapters have been interested in this? If there's quite a few, I may join in and double-up the AZ NECO site on our AZNECO.com (currently not up) and yours as well.

In definitaly like the idea of getting a main page that links all the NECO chapter's websites, even if its not "exclusive" websites that only appear on your "myneco.com".

This is just my opinion, so take it at that: I would set up myneco.com as a main "reference" page for all the different NECO chapters. On the main "myneco.com" page, have a map of the USA, broken apart into different colors. Have each different part represent the area a specific NECO chapter represents. Then all someone has to do is click on where they live to find their local NECO chapter. From there, forward them on to that chapter's website.

Its not quite what you originally were looking for, I believe, but it still makes your purchasing of the "myneco.com" domain and hosting actually worth it. And it benefits the community as a whole, so that new members can find their local chapter easily. I know I've commented several times that the new forum software/migration wiped out the little "descriptions" underneath each Section Title on the main forum page. I'm afraid this may be confusing new members who aren't familiar with the different "nicknames" some chapters have (Keystone, Tornado Alley, Heart of Dixie, etc.).
