Nice! We get the TV ads for that place!
My place, the 10th, mod/going away meet. There'll be dessert. 'Nuff said.
Details are up to you guys. We can watch movies on Mammoth, do whatever. Cool?

Topik

which ever. I might call out no matter what since I will be hungover from the night before

During the day! Then I can show off my kickass CD changer installation and get ideas on where to mount the Sirius tuner. (This morning, I discovered the cable got caught in the mechanism for the passenger seat. No damage, but it has me thinking about a better mounting setup!)

I might be getting my new shifter installed that morning, but I should be able to make an appearance.
Of course, we could start the meet out at Lindsay Cadillac in Alexandria... ;)

Would we have to wear a tie? ;)

Absolutely not. The service director there is an awesome guy and I believe he'll be personally installing my shifter. Normally I'd attempt something like this myself, but I think it will be $100 well spent (to save me aggravation). A shifter install is a lot easier with a lift, too. :)
Gotta be during the day. Leah and I need to be in Rosslyn for my company Holiday Party by 7 or so... :(
I say we all convoy to Lindsay with our Cougars, and we all walk in after Ross wanting to test-drive the CTS-V.... Or the STS-V (is it out yet??)... Ah, hell. The XLR would be fine...
RossGTX
12-02-2005, 02:59 PM
I believe the STS-Vs are in showrooms right now and I think the performance (1/4-mile and skidpad #s) are very comparable to the CTS-V despite the 69 more ponies (heavier car).
We could definitely conduct an '05 LS6 vs '06 LS2 CTS-V comparison, though. ;)
That's enough of the thread hijack, I guess.

If this is a mod meet, does Mr. Dan have a heater for the garage yet? ;)
I don't have anything to do unless someone wants to help me w/ an iPod kit install in the V.
Topik

Its kind of a mod meet. Its mostly hanging out but a little modding will be done. We might put my SVT TB on. We could do your ipod kit too possibly. Thats all up to dan

*Raises hand* Can we do my powdercoated valve covers too? And my hood strut kit? Purty please??? :) If it's to be a mod meet. If not, then I can wait until the spring.
It's a "do whatever" meet. Keep in mind, the high for that day is supposed to be 41 degrees... And I don't have a heater yet. The 220V circuit is supposed to be going in Thursday, so I'll have good power to the place is somebody (somebodies) want to bring a space heater.
9 is early- Let's shoot for 10 or so, gotta hang it up about 5pm or so to let Leah and I get ready and get to Rosslyn by 7. 7 hours is good for a few mods... Remember we can only fit two cars in the garage at a time, but I think we can knock out some TBs, valve covers, & hood struts...

Dan, good to hear about the space heater. I'll bring mine along. I'll probably be out there by 10:30 and leave around 2 or so. The dog is getting her pre-Christmas grooming that day.
I'll call before I come and get "warm beverage" orders. I'll make a Starbucks run. We could all chip in for pizzas I guess, going with a warm theme.

I can bring a heater as well. If worst comes to worst I work well out in the cold so I can do my TB in the cold in the driveway.

9 a.m. is pretty early in the Glicoes household! ;)
I left my space heater in the camper in Waldorf. Too bad, it has an infrared remote for adjusting the temperature and modes - it's fun just to play with it. :)
