Does anybody know of a good junkyard in the SWMO area that has a 99/00 cougar? Here's the deal, I woke up tuesday after all the rain that we had on monday, and my passanger side headlight, which used to be the clearer, good looking one, was full of condensation! Not only does it look like sh*t, but it cuts the light out of my headlights. :banghead: I'm gonna try Bayless (sp?) Salvage in Springfield, I heard they have just about everything. Anyone know of any others incase he doesn't have some, or wants way too much for them? Thanks.

there are how-to's around on opening up the headlights too (for painting or whatnot). You might want to try opening, drying & re-sealing before trying to find a replacement

I agree w/ Goldie you might try just sealin it first. Just getcha some of that clear silicone sealant back in automotive and try that first. But what do you mean it cuts the light in and out? That sounds like an electrical problem, loose connection? Unless the condesation is so bad it's causin a short somewhere, possible but unlikely. As for junkyards, the only others I know of are insurance reclaims and don't sell parts to the general public. Put up a "want-to-buy" here and keep your eye out on ebay too.

I'm gonna do that after I buy the new ones and then resell the old lights to pay for them. I just don't have time to take them out and reseal them right now. By "cuts out the light", I mean the light has trouble shining trough the condensation, meaning it is harder to see the right side of the road at night, if that makes any sense.
