my sig was pointing to an attachment on this site.... last time i was on the boards it was fine.... now it's gone :(

How old was your attachment? Reason I ask is that I did some pruning and deleted all attachments that where 3 years+ old.

Same here, I lost my sig too. It was a JPG file, and IIRC it wasn't very big at all, either. Oh well, I need a new one anyways, guess I'll get some more experience in "The Gimp".

This definitely shouldn't be happening!
Do you see the image in the attachment manager under the userCP area?
UserCP > Under the Miscellanious Column, click on "Attachments"
This will list all your attachments and which thread/post they are attached in. If by chance that the thread/post is deleted, I'm pretty sure that the attachment is deleted as well ... something I will need to check into.

it happened to me recently as well. It's not listed in the User CP.
I just assumed it was because I wasn't a gold member yet, so I shrugged it off.

Where did you attach the image? Is that post/thread still alive? If not, it's most likely deleting attachments when the thread/post is deleted.

I had my sig as an attachment and it deleted... it's done it 2 times already so I just change the banner when ever it happens :biggrin:
