All you need to get the back plugs out is enough extensions for your wrench to clear the cowl. It's a straight shot; blind, but a straight shot.
I don't remember the gap right off hand, though; I'm sure someone knows.

Don't do anything but get a socket for the plugs and a wrench with an extension. Most any longer extension will work fine. The only plugs you will have ANY issue (1 minute worth of work) will be the back two on the far right since the coil pack is right there. The gap was .054, I think the range that works is .054-.056, I went .055 for no reason other than the feeler guage got to the number quickest.
All you will need is:
6 new spark plugs (do a search on spark plugs, I opted to get the AutoLite recommended on these boards, works fine.)
New Spark Plug Wires, I went with the AutoLite, I've heard the Ford Racing aren't that great, and the only reason I picked AutoLite over stock Motorcraft was because the Motorcraft would of made me wait a day. (Thing is, my old wires and plugs were fine, I was just bored one day.)
Socket to loosen/unloosen spark plugs
An extension
Feeler guage, this is a spark plug gapper or whatever you call it.
A wratchet, and I THINK a 7mm or 9mm socket to take off the engine cover thing that says DOHC 24 Valve V6 Duratec Slow Car shroud.
