Ok seasoned autocrossers, any experiences or thoughts about disabling the Cougar traction control when running cross/Solo II ?
I've been mulling this over and can see positives and negatives for both dry and wet track conditions.
thanks!

I don't have traction control and I've never wished I'd had it on course. The only tire spinning I ever get is right at the start. Although having an underpowered ATX might be distorting my perception a bit too.

i woulod say no because if a tire slips for a moment and the traction control kicks in, it will take a bit for it to turn back off. If you really want to know though do your first run with it on and the second with it off. only way to know for sure for you is to try it. the way you drive, you may not need it

Big no... our TC works two ways, one it utilizes brakes to slow the slipping wheel(we don't want to go slow in AutoX)
another is it cuts fuel, which also makes us slow...
I've run both ways, generally not on purpose. It makes a huge difference having it off.

Yea, I kind of thought TC off was the way to go.
Just for kicks, I might try a run with TC on then off but, as I typically get a bit faster with each consecutive run (I think most of us do), I'll have to decide based on feel and not ETs.
Thanks
