switching guage backlit to LED? (lost the how-to)

Can someone point me where the how-to is on changing the guage backlit incandescent bulbs to LEDs?I've looked in all the places I thought it was, and can't find it. :(

ive never seen this mod... most just change the film to a different color...

that's what I did, and don't like the color it came out as, so wanted to remove the tape and go with LEDs that match my buttons.
