is there some sort of plug that i need to put into the 3L crank for the manual?? i know in old cars there is. the manual crank has a shallower hole in the crank for the gear shaft to ride in. the 3L auto has a deeper one. so is there a plug i can buy or is it not needed?? thanks

You need to cut/grind off the TC hub bushing on the backside of the crank. You need to make it flush with the crank itself.
It should be self explanatory once you see it. (or search for pictures)
