View Full Version : "Real complete" hose kit
I meet with a shop in Spain about fabricate a complete hose kit for Cougar and contour V6. Complete meaning complete, with all silicon hoses, include coolant hoses, steering fluid hoses... all
They told me that need 10 buys for begining, I will ask they for price.
They need oem parts for copy it, I will search it in parts stores for send it to they.
I need to know how many people are interested
They email me, say that 150-200 euros per kit

He gave an estimate. a euro is slightly more than a dollar ( 1 EUR = 1.21010 USD to be exact) - so estimate $181-$242. I would assume that is without overseas shipping.
This is correct.
They can give me the finally price when they say all pieces and study it...
But I think tath it is near 181 like you say. For USA people I think the better option is the group buy if the kit is being to be fabricated
No one interested?, or someone that have OEM hoses and can give me it for send it to the shop for begin the production.
It can be full replacement kit, all coolant system, vacuum and all that we need.
But, they need 10 interested persons and all oem hoses in wich we can be interested for copy it.
I have 2 years trying to find it in Spain, but not results.
This is the shop: http://www.venair.com/sport
(it have kits for many auto makes)
You can see the estimate price seeing other models in the web

is expensive when you can buy a crapload of what ever color hose you want and make it all yourself.

I'd be very interested.
If some one have old used coolant hoses and can send me... I will resend it to the shop. Or you send it directly to they.
We need all radiator hoses, coolant tank hoses and all hoses that you like.
Then when we are 10 in group buy they will can begin the production. I hope they make special price for the 10 first people.

Hose techniques offers a hose kit for our cars. Basically you cut and redo the lines. Not worth it though, I speak from experience. Keep your **** OEM.
The kit that they produce not be comparable with cut and paste silicon hoses :-)))
Itīs made in best quality silicone with 3 ply fiber. and a perfect copy of the OEM. In one piece
