you might have a hard time doing fake CF because of the fabric not being stiff and flexing too much. It would be like putting vinal on a seat. Real CF would soak into the fabric and make it hard, as would fiberglass.

real cf would cost too much

do they make universal mirrors with lights u can buy for cheap so maybe he (or maybe me in the future) can fiberglass or carbon fiber the visor and replace the mirrors so we can keep em without having em all screwed up (Seems to happen with everyone who tries wrappin them with material or anything else .....)

Perhaps something like this would work (http://www.selectproducts.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/page28.html)
The pictures don't do it justice...it actually looks VERY nice in real life. I've got the black and the silver material down at the shop

How much of this stuff do you get for $15.00?

Enough to do the door panels...or perhaps one amp rack. Not a whole bunch.
My shop down here can get MUCH larger rolls if you need it I can check into getting them to order one of the larger ones for you. Shipping would SUCK though.

It's a true interior vinyl material. You can use it to wrap and/or cover anything you would use any other material for. If you can cover it in carpet...you can cover it in this vinyl.

As much as I like CF...unless you get the CF headliner I don't think they'd look "right" in real CF. And trust me...I want EVERYTHING done in CF, I'm as bad (if not worse) than Crispy.

When I'm at the shop this week I'll try to get some pics of the vinyl in person

I believe that it is priced for one yard of Carbon fiber embossed material .

It's more than a yard...but I don't know the size of the roll off hand.
Yes...Topshop makes a true Cf headliner...just look in either the Group Buys or the For Sale section
