Throttle Body

Hey I have a 99 I4 cougar and after I went to autozone for my problem they told me that if I cleaned my throttle body I'd be good to go. I just nodded and acted like I knew how to do that cause I felt dumb....unfortunately I don't. I've heard this is actually a pretty easy thing to do but I don't know how so if someone could instruct me how to clean my throttle body that would be great....thanks in advance.

Just buy some cleaning spray (should have asked them what they recommended) and just spray it on the inside of the throttle body.

some brake cleaner, carb cleaner or throttle body cleaner would do the trick....just pop off that intake box on top of the throttle body..remove bolts here and there..and your good to go..hehe
