I have a spider crack in my CF hood... I know it's from the pressure I have to put on it to get it to latch. So what are my options other than buying a new hood? I've had it on my car for about 10 months now. Thanks in advance!

Re clear it, or Paint it!

Not on topic, but shouldn't take much force to latch it. Should probably rework the latch a bit so it closes nicer.

and get some hood pins instead of using the latch. there is no added pressure on the hood from pushing it closed

I've got hood pins too... so tomorrow, i'm going to remove the latch completely... and just use the hood pins. I really got a good chance to look at the hood today and its cracked all the way through. So i'm going to assume at this point, my only option is to buy a new hood. So with removing the latch, I won't have to put pressure on that spot so it'll give me more time to spare before I HAVE to buy the new hood..

What's the possibility of the hood cracking completely in half? I've heard stories of it happening, but how likely is it?

It can happen, usually a high speeds! Not good, it can cause a lot of damage to your car, someone elses car, maybe even kill someone! I would get it fixed sooner rather than later.
