lets see why i love my cougar let me think of this one. lets see i love the fact that the fuel pump loves to die when i am about an hour from my house on my way home from lewes. i also love how dam heavy the coug is to move when it is in grass. then i love the fact that it was like 94 degrese and i had to wait like an hour and a half for help.

You didn't take your car in for the recall?

dealer told me it was done before i got the car. i asked for them to run the recall list and make sure everything was kool and they said it was up to date

It is a recall because my fuel pump died on me and I needed it changed. It must be a grey cougar thing. They have to change it.

?:confused: doesnt that mean that the owner before him already had the fuel pump changed because of the recall?

hey guys got another update how my car is having probs with shifting out of first. and good old ford is so backed up they can't even start to look at it untill sept. 6

i am taking it back to ford and yes it it under there warranty so they are taking care of it. only prob is they can't do anything for me untill the 6th of sept
