Who is actually going to drive or willing to be a passenger in a caravan from NorCal?
I don't care if I'm the only one in the damn car, I'm driving my ass to CF2k5 in a CDW27 platform vehicle of some kind or another.
So, who is going and who knows how to drive stick?

I want to go... but I'm not sure if funds will allow  Everything I've got is going into getting this infernal contraption running... which should be happening a week or two after fest ... so I dunno, I'll probably know closer to the time that you guys would have to leave... but don't count on me this year :(

ahhh I thought so just wasn't 100% sure. thanks! :)
Anyway, I'm meeting everyone from NorCal, SoCal and AZ in WY then riding with you guys.
Our plan so far is for me to ride with Joe (nuty1der) but if anyone is short a driver, I'm more than happy to help anyway I can... I can drive a stick too
The only bad thing about that is I'm flying back home Sunday night so you'll have to drive back by yourself or have someone else help out.

No problem- I guess whatever car I'm driving is making a solo trek to WY. ;)
i'm trying to figure out a way to go.. trying to coordinate with work etc
flying is out of the question now since tickets are way too expensive

Well, get a ride with the caravan? Unless you've already moved out west.
yeah i've been in seattle for 2 months now otherwise it would only be a 2 hour drive for me :(

Travelocity.com had roundtrip tickets to Indy for $305 from SFO, so I'm sure they wouldn't be that bad from Washington either. The other option is to fly down here and come with our caravan, and then fly back. Probably save a bit of money that way. I think tickets from Seattle to SFO are around $100.
if you are leaving like on wednesday.. later better i might be able to go

Can't leave on wednesday, sorry, or we won't make it to CF until friday. :)
If you want to fly somewhere like Lincoln, NE, we can probably have you picked up or pick you up.
