yeah, i bought new plug wires in spring.... me thinks they are acting up now.... i'm misfiring on a cylinder and it isn't fun.....
this weekend i'm gonna try a few things to isolate the problem.... i'm fairly certain it's a bad wire.... once i find it, i'm off the PartsSource to get my money back (or in store credit), and I may end up with a set of Magnecore wires.....

just check the resistance in the wire. shouldnt take more then 10minutes. IIRC is 8ohm (not sure though please refer to your ford tech cd should be on that)

Already did that this past weekend w/ Ron's multimeter. IIRC they tested fine, but something was still off. It's one of those gremlin problems. :P
Btw, we shoulda timed Puck on his UIM removal. That's gotta be some kinda record or something... LOL

the problem only occurs when the engine gets hot.... when it's cold car runs fine... once it gets hot though the problem occurs
btw: zack if your wires only give you 8 ohms, i want them.... try more like 8000 ohms :)... but it's actually so many ohms per inch... i can't remember the actual value, but the wires when tested didn't stand out to be odd or anything
