Okay, I've read through some forums on the subject and can't seem to pin point anything, so I'm gunna ask. I've got an automatic, V6, AEM, and Borla.....bad shifting. when I floor it from a dead stop, come time to shift to second w/out letting off the gas it bounces and bumps around like crazy until I let off completely for it to shift into second. No other gears are affected and seems to get better after drving for half an hour. I don't really race it, but I do live where I need to merge into highway speed traffic. It's a bad feeling when your out there going like Andretti trying to get in front of a rig and your car wont shift to second........! Any help? or should i just take it in to a shop and bend over? thanks

have you had the fuel pump replaced yet. It sounds like that. Does it do it more when you are low on gas. And more when going around a corner like an on/offf ramp

actually yea, it does do it more when the fuel level is low... I did get the filter replaced, but it wasn't through a ford dealer for the recall. I think pepboys or someone did it, my girlfriend took it there to get oil changed and they asked her if she wanted to replace the filter, so she thought she be nice to me and get it done. do you think that could have done it...
