That's such a sweet looking manifold. Congrats, man; you must be pretty stoked.
I gotta get my turbo Ford back on the road. Hopefully in a couple of months...

Cast iron 2.0 block versus Aluminum 2.5 block - not quite half as much weight.

That manifold is SIC reminds me of the Focus header.
Very cool man!!! A turbo on the the Zetec will only make around 154 to the wheels? Dude that can't be right can it?

IIRC he bought a donor car with a manual. IS that swap still in the works?

yea the swap is still in the works, That is a FOCI header, and with my auto im lookin at around 180 WHP, 190ish tq, im not going to push the beast till i fully build my engine and have that MTX in, yea im still lighter than ur cougars hehe lol but i have a chip in process too, it should be very very nice when im done, i dunno about the turns andy, since i lowered my beast and i have the s/r struts, all i need is my 19 or 22 MM swaybar in the rear you will all hopefully see me run it out at cougar fest, i know it will be sweet, i also should be completely kitted too !! well anywho it should be in the 14's with the auto and tuned properly

Hmm... I doubt a turbo will get you 2 whole seconds off the quarter, but you should be in the 15's easy.
Unless you're pushing an obscene amount of boost...

your telling me that a turbo ONLY gets you to 154HP? I would think it would be more than that.

no, that turbo right there is whats pushing a 315 WHP zx2 right now,Ill have about 6 psi of boost should put me around 180 WHP, thats also Running 93-94 octane, with an SCT chip, along with my other mods, Shift points, shift pressure, redline, all that will be changed, ill be running 42 # injectors, 70 mm maf, FMIC, i also may have a manual boost controller so if i feel like it knock up my boost a bit, (external wastegate)

thank God, I was worried there for a second. Biggest waste of $$$ EVAR for a turbo if you only get 154WHP on boost. 315 is a little much for the street though, a little too much fun (LOL)
Hey, you got a hook up for some 37# or so injectors, I need them for my HO. running 28# right now, and 37# is recommended for NA. Ford Injectors are the same impedence, and plug right into my fuel rail.
I'm getting boosted here in the next few months, got to get the goddies together to complete my setup (wastegate, MSD DIS, BOV, secondary injector control, etc.)
I should be in that range as well. Then come the stroker 2.6L of hellish fury (WHOO HOOOO)

After a little reading, heck - maybe you CAN do 14's. Some of the guys over at www.turbosaturns.net are running low- to mid-13's on the boosted 1.9L Saturn DOHC LLO. Granted, those cars are a lot lighter than the ZX2, and the guys running 13's are all running 5-speeds, but hey - stranger things have happened. I can't wait to see what it will do.

http://focus.c-f-m.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=201 i havent seen 38 # but im sure for that price the 42's would be nice, or....http://www.zx2racing.com/store/closeup.asp?cid=28&pid=96&offset=0 im going to run the bosch, the FR ones are a little steep, i need to get a PRO-M 70 mm maf that is a blow threw cal'd for 42 #'ers i need blow threw so i can run a vented BOV , i dont want reculated its not as much intimidation lol

I say he will run a 14.8 or 14.9
I'm basing his off of Nemisis's 194FWHP ATX cougar track times.
just make sure to get that thing tuned before you get serious with the psi
