care to elaborate? Are you talking about dynomatting?

yes, I'm about covering all body with dynamat or similar material. I have some photos, if someone is interesting in it, i can post it.

I wonder how much weight that adds? Dynamat's not light. But how is the cabin noise?

I did the rear-hatch area, because that's the noisy part of the Cougar. The rest of my cabin was quite enuff, so I didn't bother.

well, it took about 50 kg . Dynamat-like material, and other needed light material for noise isolation. Dynamat stands for vibro izolation, not road noise izolation. Well, my cougar was from USA, very noisy. Now cabin feels like in high class mercedes or BMW :)

hmmm... I took out most of my sound deadening material... I wanted it to be more noisy.

well to all their own.

I layed down some elemental mat which is thicker than dynamat and much cheaper ($1.25 per sq ft.). Then i went over it with 3 gallons of elemental liquid sound deadner. I did it in the trunk, hatch, and floor. It probably added anywhere from 100-125 lbs. But my car is quiet as hell and there is barely any rattle at all from the bass.
