next weekend is NextFest, anyone wanna go???

OK, so next weekend [june 24, 25] is Wired Magazine's NextFest downtown. If you havent heard of it, this is a really huge deal. Wired is hands down the most infuential technology magazine in the business and they are holding a demonstration of the hottest technology developements. Your going to see alot of things like dancing robots and flying cars.

I'm going on Saturday, I'd love if I could get a few other NECOer's to join me. Tickets are $10 if you preorder of $15 at the door. Seriously, you should consider it, its all sorts of stuff that being demoed that you probably wont see for another 10 years.

Sounds like fun, but I am going to be going to a library conference that weekend. Wouldn't you rather visit BOOKS than technology?

oh man, you guys missed it, frickin awsome.

I actually got a job offer when I was there. I was drilling one of the exhibitors [something I like to do to see how much they know about their product], and it turned out to be the company's president [I didnt find that out until much later] but he flat out offered me a job. I guess I had some impressive stuff to say.

I'll be talking to him more on Monday. Yes, I certainly will be taking this job. The downside is I would be moving to Atlanta.

I think everyone will agree that this is the perfect job for me... I will be making psychedelic toys for children.
