I saw the pics you posted of it when you first got it. Our one friend just picked up a white one.

God I love having AWD in the winter - SUV (http://protege5gurly.photosite.com/Mariner/)

I am looking at getting a Mariner once my Strat is Paid off in 2 years.. What kind of model, color, accessories did you get?

What dealer did u get it from?

All is well with me.. Driving around in a ' 02 Strat.. Looking to move out of my parents home and move into a place of my own.. Pretty much same crap just a different day..

Thank you

Got the Mariner from Princeton Nassau Conover (same as the cougar) ... they are GREAT to deal with (my salesman both times was Marty Mertz), plus they accept Xplan :)

Its a 2005 Mariner Premier in Satellite Silver (depending on the light it looks silver, greenish, blueish, possibly even tan) -- truly unique color. I also opted for the all black leather interior instead of that 2 tone leather/cloth they advertise. Its fully loaded except for moonroof and the extra side impact protection. Other than those 2 options, I have em all. At first I didnt want that cargo management deal, but found outs it nice to have (in the pics it has my cleaning stuff tucked away) but it also keeps plastic grocery bags in one place so they dont roll all around the trunk.

Your Mariner looks awesome.. Now I want one of these more now then I did before.. So how did you ask Virginia the big question? Feel free to contact me anytime thru aol at Lisas1798.. I believe we talked in the past but then I lost touch with you since I do not drive a cougar anymore.. Is the model you have the top of the line or the basic model? What did you say happened to the cougar?

The one I have is top of the line ... I sold the cougar to a member from Long Island.

As for the proposal, long story, but it involved me getting an basket early from her and a comment that I was most likely going out after work on Easter Sunday to put together her basket -- little did she know :)

Hello

Whelp....I moved to just outside Princeton, so now im apart of the ultra cool central Jersey club.

Outside that....nothing really. Im thinking of topping my 10,000 mile oil change once again by doing 11,000 mile without. I only have 3 more to go. I might be nice and get it changed however since its summer and all.

I love the Mariners, they are quite nice and comfy. Im still stuck on the escapes though for some reason. Im a glutton for punishment i think.

Need sunglasses?

Harro again

Minus the ocean and beach and fresh seafood....this place does have its perks. I'll tell ya what, having a target and a mall for that matter less then 30 minutes away is so awesome. Im getting spoiled.

As for discounts....i have a few connections here and there, i just need to know whatcha want and i can work it from there.

If this keeps up and people start posting, all of us old folks will need to have a bar-b-que to get together and relive the memories and catch up. Just like one of the first times completel with grilled goodness, cars, and Jeremy helping the young women find the hole.

Mercer County Park anyone? Since its down the street and all ;)

Katie...white pants was possibly the best idea ever for going on a water ride :naughty:

It feels like we havent gotten together because we really havent. God, im almost thinking minus running into Jeremy at Riders graduation, i havent seen any of y'all in like 2 years. Whih is really sad considering how close we really all do live to each other.

We all do need to get together in some fashion, even for some drinks and food like mentioned way back when.

See....i think what it is, the idea of planning some gala event to get everyone together. Literally, all of our old meets involved people just kinda hanging out somewhere having some drinks, some laughs, and shooting the breeze. We didnt need amusement parks, rides, putt-putt or anything but each other time and company.

Also i think because were all sort of out of the habit of hanging out, its gettng harder for us to actually committ to hanging out, plus things to change, people get older, and its not as easy to just up and hang out. Lotta folks have other responsibilities that come first.

Its nothing against you hombre, but it'll take some massive love and care to get this train moving again. I sincerely hope it does, cause i miss all of y'all :grouphug:

Especially Katie :naughty:
