i went to the track today for the first time EVER...and my cougar with just an ebay intake and truebendz borla exhaust ran a 15.5. i was very impressed because my clutch slips like crazy, and my tires were crappy all season kumho ones. i dont have a scanner but here's the stuff from the time slip.

r/t .967
60' 2.351
1/8 10.091
mph 71.06
1/4 15.560
mph 89.80

i mad two other runs which were 15.8 (first) and 15.9 (second) i was testing out launching techniques.

maby with a clutch i'll run low 15s. but actually after being to the strip and seeing real fast cars it really takes the fun out of modding my car to go faster. i mean 13 second runs were no big deal..and people laughed at 14s. annoying muscle car crowd...

Pretty good launch times. I'd say your clutch is better than you think...

you are stock right now. you don't need a new clutch. and it certainly won't help you that much right now.

at how many miles? at the time i was at 97,6xx. i also haven't replaced the fuel filter in a year, nor have i cleaned the uim for like 2 years. i imagine i could get a tenth lower if i wanted, but running my car any harder then i was i was afraid i was gonna break something.. i need this car to last me through the rest of college.

oh and not to mention i have a full sound system in my trunk....
