Ron, ya bringing yer tent/chairs again this year? I've got a 10' tent and 4 chairs I'm thinking of dragging along so I can chill outside more this year.

Well if you're planning on bringing a big canopy tent than I can leave mine at home. We don't need 2. Just make sure we both park together at the back by the grass. I'll still bring lots of foldy chairs though.

How long did it take to get to Indy last year? How fast were you driving and how often did you stop?

We went the LOOOONNNNGGGG way, plus we had to stop for HOURS and wait for the cops because of Hamill's accident. =( (Those were the dumbest cops I've ever seen...)

Plus the rain, etc. We only really stopped like 2 or 3 times, for sodas, food, and wee breaks.

It's too soon to know what time exactly, but probably early to mid morning is my guess. I'm so swamped with the new house this week that Cougarfest is actually far from my mind! In a couple weeks we'll hammer out the exact details.

We've all got the 2-ways. ;) I think I paid $15 or so after my friends Best Buy discount for two -- and they worked great last year. (Although this year I'll make sure I don't kill the batteries a few miles from my house, so I can say goodbye this time, lol.)

I bought the cheapo's from Best Buy man. Cost with discount was about $15, so they couldn't be more than $20 or $25 for a pair. I can't remember the exact type, so I'll let someone else chime in with that.

Mine are still on channel 4 from last year! ;) In fact, I hadn't touched them until yesterday, when I pulled them outta the closet to make sure I still had em. We're gonna use them tonite on our trip to Cedar Point -- we gotta take two cars because we've got my 2 kids, plus my sister and her 2 kids going alone. Should be fun, and I'll be back on Sunday!

Here's the estimate for time....

I'm guessing we'll leaving Windsor around noon and arriving at Brad's place at like 1:00 worst case. I think Jenny wants to hit up a Meijer's before leaving for cheap booze so say we'll be on the road at like 2:00 from Farmington Hills area. I think it's about 6 hours to drive to Indy and maybe stopping for food my arrival estimation is approx 8:00 PM.

If I was coming alone I might stay over but My wife and her sister are coming, so thats 3 people. I don't want to inconvenience you that much. But thanks for the offer. Its about a 4 hour drive from Toronto to Windsor, so If I leave around 7:00am, We should be at your place around 11:00am. I will PM you my cel number just incase you need to get in touch with me. 4 more days, I can't wait!
