99-00 and 00-02 Suspension Differences ????

I have a 01 ZN AT 2.5L V6. I want to purchase New struts, mounts, blah blah the whole kit.
My question is I see for sale a lot 99-00 Lowering kits, Coil over kits, etc... but never any 01 or 02.... Would that fit on a 01 as well or 99-00 have a differn't setup from 01-02 ????


P.S if any1 knows a very good priced site that sells strut mounts, and struts, springs, also lowering kits would be very helpful so I can compare prices.

the only difference is the rear spring seats/strut mounts. you can buy 99-00 rear spring seats/strut mounts , put them on a 01-02 cougar and use any 99-00 lowering spring. the front requires no modification.

struts are the same thru all model years.

99-00 spring seat is Ford part number: F5RZ 5793 A
99-00 rear stut mounts is Ford part number F5RZ 18198 AA
