Well, today I took my car in for an alignment and got the call that my right front lower ball joint is basically completely destroyed. It's so bad they sad that they recomended me have the car towed home. I drove it neway since my house is only a few mins away. Conrad's told me this and they wanted $170 to do it. I found another place willing to do it for $105. I work at autozone so I can get the part for about $30 w/my discount, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this and would be willing to help or if I should just suck it up, bend over and take it in? Any advice is wonderful considering I have no idea about this stuff and the shop can't do it till friday. Thanks guys.

Oh wow dude, nice timing. Front right means passenger side correct :stupid: I hear that the passenger side it pretty easy. Sled and I are about to do our drivers side joints. Hopefully that's not as bad as everyone says. You lucked out. Tire Kingdom told me they would kindly replace my lower control arm for about $300. I'm sure Bennett and Bexcat could chime in with their knowledge. Good luck!
I had my driverside replaced and it ran me about $200+. I had mine done at a shop cause Im in between living arrangements. Its definally cheaper to do it yourself if you can or have time and space.

Yeah; it's a pain, but I'll take that pain for the price you'd pay otherwise.

thanx for the input guys. I just got a check from work about twice as much as I thought it was gonna be so I think I'll just take it in on Friday morning and forget about the hassle.
