After work today i had the opportunity to have a proper race in my T/A.

A guy at work has a 300zx twin turbo with some work done to it. BOV, exhaust, k&n airfilters and thats all he would confess to but i think he had more done.

So we line up at a stop light and wait for it to turn red so we can have a decent race. I had one passenger to make things more fair b/c he has stereo and stuff like that in his car. Well thats all the details now to the race.

So the light turns green we both take off he had a better launch than me but i caught up and quickly gained. His nose was at my back bumper at this point but with every shift he gained a little bit by the time we shut it down his nose was at my mirror and we were going about 110. After we pulled into a gas station and b/s'd for a bit and that was it. The guy wanted to put money on it but i wouldn't do it b/c this was my first race in the T/a from a dig.

Nice kill, what are you running in the quarter mile? Assuming hes a good driver, he should be running around 13.5.

High 13s? No way. He'll see easily 13.2 to 13.4 easily with the auto running 1.8 to 2.0 flat 60' all day long. And this is talking from experience.
