Happy B-day Katie... Hoboken is ok, not necessarily my favorite place to go, especially in the summer time. Hoboken is a much better place in the fall and winter times. My friend has an apt there, so we just get wasted in chill. Just hit up every bar you see along the way.

Oh yeah, and parking is a pain in the a$$, unless you have a parking permit...

Hope you got some good presents...don't get too wasted, remember you'll be atleast 21 now for the remainder of your life (and that sucks) :)

Happy Birthday!

If you feel like making another stop, the Dark Horse Lounge in Morristown is always good.... Of course, its the only real bar/nightclub I've ever been in since I'm under 21 and just work there :P

You bet I do!!!!
O.K. Katie...not sure what your scene is.....but I am going to give you a list of bars/clubs all within a 3 block radius from the PATH.
I have personally been to all of these, so I am your testimony, haha.

LOUNGE/UPSCALE
3 Forty Grill (340 Sinatra Drive). Sinatra drive is the riverfront (Hudson River) right by the PATH.
Trinity (306 Sinatra Drive). Again the riverfront.
Sky Lounge (96 River St). Pretty cool, what the title says....outside rooftop lounge.
Sushi Lounge (corner of Hudson and 2nd)
Miles Square (Washington St, between 2nd and 3rd)

BAR/CLUB
Bar None (84 Washington St, across the street from CVS)
Black Bear (Washington St, between 2nd and 3rd)
Farside (Washington St, between 5th and 6th)

BAR/RESTAURANT
EAST LA (Washington St, between 5th and 6th)
Green Rock (Hudson Place, across the street from the PATH)
Hobson's Place (Hudson Place, across the street from the PATH)
Texas Arizona (76 River St)
Whiskey Bar (Wahsington St, between 1st and 2nd)

NIGHT CLUBS
Bahama Mama's (Washington St, between 2nd and 3rd)
Lana (92 River St)
Planet Hoboken (16 Hudon Place, across the street from the PATH)

As you can see, if you park anywhere near the PATH, you will be more than in the location you need to be. There are several parking decks, if need be, also in the area. River St and 2nd as well as Hudson and 3rd.

All these places are in a 3 block radius. So just start hopping! Hope you have a good time.

P.S. I am not weird by the way for detailing all of this. I live in the heart of all these places as well and am only 22.....so I got some sort of excuse. Any questions, just let me know.

Oh, and my birthday is SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!! 23 baby!

happy bday....

mayunk is an awesome town. The brew pub down there is probably my favorite place in the world, and the weather is perfect for hanging out on the back deck on the river this time of year. Also check out grape streat (it moved to where chemistry used to be). The owner is a friend of mine.

As for hoboken, I personally stay clear of Planet & Lana, but then again I'm not into packs of guys named vinnie who wear gold chains. Blackbear is a good place that draws a nice mix of people, whiskey will always have a band (usually a half decent cover band). 340/trinity/The Quays are all nice plus you are right on the river. The Quays also has an awesome menu. They do draw a lot of the stereotypical "people trying to be more important than they really are" crowd on the weekends, but overall are good places.

Don't go to bahama mammas unless......well there really is no excuse for going there (That goes for you too lefty, the rest of us townies will run you into jersey city with pitchforks if we catch a local there).

I haven't been to bar none in a few years, mainly because the last few times I went there it caught on fire (like 3 times in a row!).

If you are going to do the barhop thing in hoboken, don't limit yourself to the places on washington. There are tons of cool bars down 1st (which is still right by the train station) and most won't have cover making it easy to go from place to place.

There are also lots of great places uptown, but most tend to draw an older crowd.

if you have any questions about a place lemme know, ive spent way to much of my money and time drinking in this town, & lefty, we still have to catch up for a beer one of these nights.

hey thanks for all the info... im pretty excited.. we decided were goin to take a limo up there and back so we dont have to worry about anyone drinking too much and having to drive home.. so it should be a good time

im really just looking for a club to dance and have fun, i think were goin to eat somewhere around here and leave at like 8 to go up there... so whichever one is more like clubby, dancing, lights, the usual, im probabaly goin to end up there

thanks for the bday wishes!
