Thanks to a little help from the stock market, and some good timing, BADDKTY will be back on the road within a few weeks.

What will be done?

"New" tranny, add tranny cooler.
Install GMK
Install matrix coilovers
Fix Battle kit + paint kit/fenders/hood

It hit $52 today, personally I'd probably sell off a few hundred shares @ 53, and if it goes higher hold on to the rest until around 65+

I had 75 shares.

Bad side- Battery in Cougar is dead :(
Good side- Car gets picked up tomorrow and towed to tranny shop!!
Bad side- Tranny repair costs PWN my wallet- $1950-2400
Good side- 2 year, unlimited mile warranty (Good thing, because I will blow through a 36k mile warranty in like 3 months :rofl: )!!
Bad side- $3850.50USD - $2400 = 1450USD :(
Good side- Tranny cooler installed along with it (to accompany stock)!!
Bad side- Tranny provided by Devin would cost nearly as much to use to replace due to 18hr book time for a tranny swap.
Good side- Lawsuit settled against former employer means 3850.50USD - 2400.00USD = 1450USD + 2600USD = 4050USD :biggrin: !!!
Bad side- I spent $600 on a MiniDV Camcorder :flushed:
Good side- Now I can record all the drunken moments at events we all enjoy!!!
Bad side- Joe's apartment is now too far away to party at on the weekends :(
Good side- Ugly chicks from the bar across the street won't harass us anymore!!!
Bad side- I have nowhere to invite all of the chicks I usually invite to parties :(
Good side- After all of this I will still have a couple of G's in my pocket ($1g of which goes to paintjob), and teh Cougar will be ON TEH R04D!!!

Well, 4hrs labor to leak test, possibly replace or fix, + 18 hours book time to do the swap would have made it cost the same. Instead, he's going to charge me less to pull the tranny and rebuild with updated components ordered from Ford. :shrug: Sounds better to me.

Well, the tranny shop takes a while due to the amount of time and labor involved in this stupid [censored]ing transmission. I hate our shoe-horned drivetrain sometimes. ;)

That and it took a week for e*trade to get me my [censored]ing money. :mad:
