OK.....Caravan time!!!!..Updated list and info 7/7/05

I've gone the last four years and always drove with the Keystone caravan. Who from this area went last year? Which way did you go? I am going to start to plan a route...... several options to take. Who is DEFINETLY going? Lets get the caravan all set!!!!

we have some FL NECO members who will be rolling with us.

I believe the plan is to early and attack the Dragon on the way to meet the TN necoers.

The Dragon. Run a search on google and you'll find its a bad ass twisty road which passes from NC to TN line.

The Tail of the Dragon (http://www.tailofthedragon.com/index.html) is a stretch of Rt 129, pretty much from the NC/TN border toward Knoxville, that has "318 curves in 11 miles".

I'm staying the night July 27 at Tapoco Lodge (http://www.tapocolodge.com/index.html), just south of the start of the Dragon. Thursday morning I'll drive through the Dragon on my way to CF. It's probably 8 - 10 hours (depending on stops) to CF, so I plan to leave by 9:30 am.

I'd love to have company -- If you're going westward, think about driving the Dragon on the way.

are yall gonna be hittin 64 at all along the way?...thats basically the whole trip for me up until KY...meeting up with capital/maryland and the other northern chapters would take me waaaay too far north out of my way so this kinda sucks...i could go a bit south at some point to meet up with yall...let me know what route you're taking

actually chris i think i've decided to drive up to my sisters house in centreville,va (northern va) on wed night and leave with capital thursday morning...they're meeting up with a huge caravan somewhere in PA

Im meeting up with the Keystone caravan in Ohio on Thursday morning. Ive been riding with them to every Fest for the last four years before i moved down here 5 months ago. I cant break the tradition. See you all at the Fest!!!!!!!!!
