I think the Mods and Admin have there heads in places they shouldn't.

The new rules for the Lounge seem to be just off of people's whims and what they may find annoying. People are on here to have fun, interact, find info, and get to know people.

I think #4 and its revisions need some thought put into them. And #9. I think if they are annoyed by any of 4, than they are doing a #9.

I also like how Mods have final say. And I love JScullins quote at the bottom of his sig. That is what is killing America, hipocrits.

Just sounds like a politician that would send everyone elses children to war, but not his own, you know the kid that goes to the private school and has healthcare that is better than anyone else can afford.

Mike, I totally agree. All of the fun is being taken out of NECO from those rules. The way we all communicate and get to know eachother before we meet in person is through the forums. If it's so dry and boring, I forsee alot of people losing interest and saying F this.
And who cares if i put Sh!t in place of [censored]?? I think we're all mature adults. Seeing that 12 year old internet surfers probably don't give a rat's @$$ about what we have to say in the forums and the youngest person on here is at least old enough to drive and has probably been exposed to plenty worse things, I don't see a problem with how NECO used to be.
Oh, and another thing...I love how he locked the thread so no one had a say about it. :rolleyes:

eh, i just ignore most of the admins. seems like they are almost all(if not all) power hungry. with the exception of trevor, he seems to be pretty much down to earth.

and it is funny how the thread is locked. but you know if someone starts a thread voicing their opinion about it they will get a strike. or if tef sees it, the insta-ban will come into play.

we need a section of NECO to be off topic that you must subscribe to in order to have access. that way people cant [censored] about what is posted. on my local forum we have a section that you have to sign up for, and if at anytime you dont feel like you like it anymore you pm an admin and you get taken off the list so you cant see it anymore. simple, but its enjoyable for those who want to see it.

mike, at least stick around the chapter, if you choose to not come here anymore.

I have not even run into a problem with it yet, but I just hate it when some people think they need to make the world into what they think it should be. I am just here to spend some of my time seeing what is going on, pass on some knowledge and gain some, and that is about the sum of it.

We have the same thing at a site here where you have to request to get on to the Admin. The thing is that none of what bothers me is content related; just the stupid rules they attach. I mean sometimes an emoticon say it all. Or quoting someone when they say exactly what you would say to a questions.

And my biggest [censored], is if they are spending all this time on the website, I would hate to see thier cars. I mean lets get real.

I've had similar thoughts about some of the mods on here. Most are cool, but there are a few that think their God!:rolleyes:
They keep telling me if I don't like it leave. I could do that but I choose to put up with it. The benefits of this forum and the people on here outweigh a few A-holes who are compensating for their lack of.... Whatever!!! :shrug:

no offence, but I think your a little overboard in your anger.

Those rules have been there since day one of the Lounge. I don't remember seeing you when the old Off-Topic was around. It was chaos. I was fun at times but it was way out of hand. People whould actually threaten others with violence at times.

Trevor made the rules. Jscullin posted them. Trevor made the rules because he's the owner of the boards and he's legally responsable for the content on here. Basically he's covering his ass. I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to be fined or taken to court because of some people can't behave themselves.

I'm not defending anyone. Just trying to show you a different point of view,
