How do you get to the lights in the visor... do you have to take the entire visor down and crack it open? (yes I've searched)

Yes you do. I currently have mine in pieces so can take some piccies if you want?
You have to crack them open and then brake (or melt) the plastic weld spots.

Pics would be great... I was able to get the clear things that cover the light bulbs off... but that doesnt really allow you to do much... What was your approach on gettin the "cup" thats' against the headliner off without damaging it?

As for the plastic cup, I used a jewlers (sp) screwdriver to clip it off.

Now when you say crack them open, do you mean the piece that is fabricated has to be split down the seam? or does the mirror housing come off separetely...?

OK. When I say crack them open, I mean the sunvisors themselves. They open up like a book. Once you have them open, you then need to melt the 5 plastic weld spots on the right of the picture, and then the 4 on the left of the picture.
I then broke one of the two plastic welds by the plastic white bulb holders on both of the lights. The enables you to take out the bulb and holder, which in turn allows you to take out the mirror and/or the plastic light covers.
Hope some of that makes sense!
