car show in savannah

there is an all ford car show on oct 22 which is the saturday the dsn meet wouldda fallen on, at armstrong atlantic state university in savannah. im still debatin on showing my car there again this year. but it would be great to see other cooga members there this year besides me and aaron. registration is $27 early and $32 if you dont register early. if anyone is interested let me know. it would be great to see everyone again or just hang out for the weekend.

awsome, you gunna show? registration starts at 8 ends at noon, expect to be there all day. at this point and time looks like i might be in partial primer at the show :cover: also ill post directions at a later date, possibly in the next few days.

well ive emailed some peeps about how long it would take to get a kit to me. if they can get it to me a few weeks before the show i can start body work and atleast have the kit on, primered and body work partially done, besides the flares, and some underconstruction decals or something like that made up.

i think they do give some of the money to some group i am not sure which on tho. i will ask the guy that i know that always goes if they do or not.

so jorje i think you should come the the SAV for this. we could hang out and go cruisin around savannah, and them come over to h-town and go "ridin"[cough] racin'[cough] on the some of the back roads over here! lol

thats 27 for preregistration, at the gate its 32 which includes, 2 free passes to saturday nights low contry boil, which i didnt go to last year so i cant tell you how it was, jorje, you should deffineitly come down dude that would be awsome!

that was the funniest thing I've read in a while. A low country boil is a bunch of "rednecks" that throw in a bunch of shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, and some good seasoning into a giant pot and bring to a boil. It's good if you eat seafood, I don't but they say its tasty.

the show is mostly announced through word of mouth, and letters that ppl who attended the previous year get in the mail. i found out from aaron last year, i dont remember where he heard it from. it was mostly mustangs there, infact they said the international mustang show several times that day haha but they had other stuff there, even a contour showed up last year. a lot of nice lookin cars. nothing big but for my first show last year was pretty cool.

aight peeps, for those whos interested here is the addy and directions:
Armstrong Atlantic State University Campus
11935 Abercorn st. Ext. (Ga. Hwy. 204)
exit 94 from I-95, 7 1/2 miles north of 95 and about 1/2 mile from savannah mall

if you are coming from I-16 take 95 SOUTH till you get to exit 94. take a LEFT at the stoplight at the bottom of the off ramp. head to savannah. you will pass under a total of about 4 stoplights before you are infront of the savannah mall, which will be on your left. from there get in the far right hand lane and go 2 more stop lights i believe, aasu will be on the right the show should be in the front of the school. any questions let me know!

the show was about twice as big as it was last year, but again only me an aaron in a class, the results.....he took first i took second. the judged us very hard this year, i think they must have spent about 15 mins on both cars. aaron im gunna get a hold of someone to see about the judging sheets. ill be postin pics later on.
