I am thinking of putting my headunit where the hvac controls currently are then fiberglassing the hvac controls where the headunit used to be. So how would I go about doing this??? My concern is having it where I can pop out the piece I am fiberglassing so I can remove that piece again if I need to do something with the dash assembly. Just looking for pics on what to do....My deck doesnt support DVD or else I would put a screen there.

I don't have my car in my possession but I cut out the HVAC area from the dash and moved that piece to where the ashtray was... molded it all into the console to be one complete unit.. then molded in my headunit dash kit to where the HVAC's are in the stock position.. In the normal radio opening I have a single din EQ and a in dash DVD player

hope this makes sense without pictures.

I was also thinking of doing that as well and then moving a couple toggle switches and an eq in the old stereo spot......just whenever you can crispy send a couple pics my way as I wont be doing this probably until fall sometime.

I'll have to borrow a friends camera first, then I can show u some pics of mine. I just got it back, I sent it and had somebody else do it cuz I don't have any experience with projects like that and it seemed to tough to do for a first project, or maybe I was scared I would mess something up bad, I don't know. But I'll put some pics on here tomorrow hopefully.

here is mine -- its still not done -- I need to shave the top white mounting tabs right now so the headunit and HVAC area on the console sit flush... as far as mounting because all the screw areas are gone I just busted out a hot glue gun and squirted in areas that cannot be seen... the sucker is holding great and and can easily be removed later
