View Full Version : Interest check: Maggiano's - Proposed Date

Well, we've had a ton of mod/engine meets recently, so I'm thinkin' it's time for another social meet. The way that it works with Maggiano's is this: You order family style in advance. That basically means all you can eat of appetizers, pasta, main course and desert. Drinks are NOT included, but you could do very well with water. We would vote in advance on the dishes so that we can expedite being served when we got there. We could do a week night or we could do a weekend, whatever peeps wanted. It's about $20 a person, but when you consider the quality and the amount of food, it's a really good deal. Anybody and everybody would be invited.
The most convenient Maggiano's for everybody is Tyson's, I'm thinking. So who's up for it?? :banana:

We'll be sure to schedule it around a time that you can be off, Kevin. How far in advance is your schedule posted?
Same goes for you, Henry. Though, I have no control over the working Cougah thing. ;)

How does everyone feel about the first weekend in July?
I have family comin' in the 4th.
I talked with Kevin last night- How 'bout making it a Saturday night dinner in-between a mod (i.e. header installs for Tom and Kevin) meet? Headers would only take me 4-5 hours (never done an ATX before, so I'm guessing) each set, so we can do a set of headers, dinner, then another set either that (late) night or the next day.
WHAT SAY YOU???!!! ;)

A Saturday meet works well for me. Did you have a date in mind that you wanted to install headers? I'm going to be out of town a lot in June, so that's why I suggested July. But I can set it up and the rest of you'uns can go. ;)

So, which weekend are we talking about again? I've lost track. June 18 is bad for me; ImpalaDay II is scheduled for that day in Rockville. The 11th and 25th of June are okay for me, though.
I'm planning to go camping on the July 4 weekend, so if the dinner is then, it's possible I could find a campground close by and still make the dinner.
Gonna have to be the 11th... I can't swing the 4th (family) and the 25th I've got another clutch install... Leah's gonna kill me...

Yeah, sorry guys, I"m out for Maggiano's on the 11th. I'll coordinate it for everybody though. I will most likely attend the meet for a bit on the 11th, but the 12th is autocross day.

Actually, unfortunately for that evening, I already have plans. If they fall through, I will be able to join you.
I'll post a new topic to find out who's going. So far it's Tom, Dan and Leah and RJ.
