Moving to Nashville end of July

Hi everyone,

I used to run Empire NECO (NY) then moved to VA (Tidewater NECO). First had my 99 Cougar (http://www.cougardb.com/car.php?id=JennaJ) then sold it before I moved.
Last Feb 04 I bought another car 01 C2 Cougar (http://www.cougardb.com/car.php?id=JennaJ-V2) when I was in va beach.
Im now back in NY for a wedding and other business should be moving to TN end of July I hope.
My boyfriend lives in Franklin which is just south of Nashville - thats where I'll be.

Just checking in on the soon to be new chapter to see where everyone is located and such - meets, etc..

I dont believe with all the moving I'm going to have to be doing (stuff in storage in VA) that I will have enough money or time to attend Cougarfest this year...

I'll be checking in on the chapter from time to time to see whats up - do you guys have a chapter webpage with pics and stats??? Stickers?? t-shirts??? anything - just curious

That's funny that you are moving out of VA Beach to come to TN. My g/f is from VA Beach and always whining about wanting to go back.
As far as meets go, we have meets occasionally, but our chapter is so spread out that it is difficult to get everyone together. Though most of us are centered within 45 mins of Nashville.

welcome. we don't have shirts yet, stickers yet....website y2kat is working on that..meets different story. everyone is so spread out it hurts to get a meet together. but we try.

some of us live close to nashville. my fiance lives in manchester and i live in clarksville. so i am always driving through the area.

I grew up near va beach in Norfolk. Now I live in Winchester KY. Welcome. BTW Joseph, I do website design/graphics so if y2kat needs help tell her i'd be willing to do whatever. I really do think that we need to get shirts stickers etc... So what would we have to do to get that rollin?

i can contact a girl in my chapter that got our t-shirts done. we got long sleeve and short sleeve ts. not too badly priced - LS $20 and SS $18 i think.

we got stickers too (both chapters i was in) I can help contact our vinly guy to get a good price on these too.

BUT from lil ive had a chance to read threw THIS CHAPTER NEEDS A SYMBOL. I saw one idea in the sticker thread - i hope more people come up with more ideas. i wish i was good at graphic design or i would. i got a guy in Empire might do some up for free for me - id have to ask and see if he has the time.
Get a couple of ideas together and have everyone vote on them.
I know for tidewater - our stickers are different from our shirts. yeah it takes time for everyone to agree on something - but at least that way more people with buy the stuff to use after.

Me starting up and running a chapter then helping out with another - Im here to help if anyone needs me. Ive got a Marketing Degree... if that means anything.

As for meets... DAM... i know where Clarksville is - if the majority of people are within 45 min of nashville - thats not too far at all... you pic a center point and everyone drives 20-30min not too hard...
in NY we have an east and a west - the east is spread out members are within 1-2.5 hours of each other and they still meet like once every 3 months. but dont matter - as long as you guys can at least get something together twice a year thats not too bad i guess...


PS - mindtrip - VA SUCKS!!!!!! nice to visit never want to live there again. she isnt missing anything but a LOT of taxes, pain in the ass cops, same old [censored] college bars, beach bums, tourists, and ohhh the ocean BFD.

i have been trying to work meets out even the weekend i was leaving for coming here. i am in iraq and have been the most active member in the chapter.lol :ugh: i iwsh some other people could be more active and step out of the shadows. :cover: i know some of the members dont talk much in the other parts of the forum but people shouldn''t be scared to talk in our own chapter.

the mod meet at my house is just a idea i threw out. its nothing in stone since no one else has given any ideas. i thought it would be fun to have a bbq toss back a cpl beers and work on cars, i just wanna relax when i get back and have some fun. i have been cooped up for 4 months and wanna have fun.
