Well I just got my first car sponsor since starting auto-X.. One of the local muffler shops, South County Muffler.. Hey, its a start.. and I needed a new Cat..
I run in STX-N in the San Francisco Bay Region Championship. Its great, one Cougar and twelve WRX's.. persistence counts, I'm running forth in the points.. it is great fun with some terrific folks.

My region is working with discount tire for a sponsorship. We've all ready bought 4 sets of tires from him, 2 sets are mine. Some khumo street tires and V710's.

My wife (03 Focus ZX3) and I (01 Cougar C2) just picked up sponsership from a local craft brew group who owns three brewpubs in the area! See, you guys are smart and get free auto parts and we just get ......!
Keep at it! All sponsership not only helps the driver but the sport! We now have acquaintances from the brewpubs showing up at the events to cheer us on. They can't believe how fun the people and races are and are surprised they never heard of this before.
Keep those Cougars Autocrossing (I'm the only one doing so around here!).
