i think it's about time i go ahead and buy my 3L i was gonna go ahead and pick up the escape motor here shortly, me and my father were gonna build it up, but honestly i don't wanna mess with installing it in the car. i am lookng for someone who has the experience of doing this that offers the service. it's going to be a little while before we can get the motor built the way i want, but anyone that is in this area of the states that can do an install please pm me cause i would like to get a quote on the swap. i'm just too lazy to do this work myself, and my dad hates fwd cars so he's already said no to helping with the actual install and that makes it impossible for me to do it.

I beleive Buckshot77 does this, I'm pretty sure he's midwest.
not that I'm offering his services but DemonSVT *might* do it, he's in STL
Terry Haines from Haines Motorsports, a shop that specializes in our vehicles, will most certainly do it, he's located in Grand Rapids, MI
Finally I think he's out of the game, but he's a wrencher, Brad Noon (bnoon on the forums) is somewhere in the midwest also....

putting it in is way easier than pulling it out, if you are pulling it out yourself, putting the new 3L in will be a breeze

i don't want to do either... what i would like to do is pick up the engine from a junkyard, rebuild it, drive my car to a shop and drop off the 3L with the car and come back to pick up the car and my old 2.5L engine... i can get my chip and stuff reburnt while it's in the shop, and i am going to try buy a spec one clutch and have it changed under a warranty i got on my car before i do.. i'll just pay for the clutch myself, since i think i am having issues with my tranny anyways ;)
