Ok so i got my 01 cougar trans at the house. No surprise but its identical to my 98 csvt trans. Only difference is the shift tower. I have a focus shift tower but i would like to sell it instead of use it because as far as ive heard, the cougar one is perfectly fine. The problem i have is the knobs the clamp attaches too are way smaller on the cougar tower as compared to a focus one. Does anyone know if i could just get cougar shift clamps. I bought new clamps for the focus swap. Or should i just put the focus one on and say screw the extra money i could get back if i sold it?? any insight would be greatly appreciated.
