I've spent a few of the days this week gutting my cougar. Almost all of the interior is out now except the drivers seat, the main part of the dash, and the carpet. I'll probably have all of that out sometime monday or tuesday. Then hopefully i'll get it over to my buddies house to get the body work and repair done.

Aaron, or anybody else that can photoshop, i have a few requests that i would like to see to get an idea on what it's going to look like. You don't have edit the photos of the car in the storage unit, just the ones of it outside.

Front end:
-Remove license plate
-Remove headlight covers and add clear corners
-Fill in the space underneath the "hump" in the bottom of the bumper

Sides:
-Remove door handles
-Paint all the black plastic around the side view mirrors white

Rear:
-Fill in the key hole
-Fill in the little indentation where you stick your hand after you pop the trunk
-Fill in the license plate indentation
-Remove rear wiper (undecided if i want to shave it - opinions please)
-This is where i'm looking for opinions. I like the shaved spoiler look. But not sure if i like it on my car. I took it off to see what it looks like but you can clearly tell where it was. So clean the mounting areas and fill in the holes. I'll provide another pic that i want you to edit as well but leave the spoiler on for comparison.
-This one will be hard to explain. I want a center section to the rear bumper on the bottom. Make it looked like they cut out a place for dual exhaust on the bumper. Kinda like the battle rear bumper, except with the styling of my rear bumper.
-Add a dual exhaust. The type of tips used doesn't really matter as long as they aren't huge and stupid looking.

Misc:
-Remove antenna
-Tint windows to roughly 35% and a window banner of the same percentage
-Remove rear window squirter (Again, not sure if i want to do, but want opinions)
-Add on my aftermarket wheels and tires (sorry they aren't already on, but i don't want them to get messed up from all the work)
-Lower the car

Brian if I may...... Keep the spoiler, lose everything else like the rear wiper, squirter etc. Atleast go with 35% tint I have 20% and love it and have never been pulled over(knock on wood), and well then I think youll be good :)

Yeah, i'm leaning on keeping it. But i was just curious on what it looks like without. Unfortuneatly i can't get a good visual cause of the dirty spot left over from the mounting areas.

You could throw a Visteon spoiler on there...

Yeah, a Visteon or a Roush would look awesome; something with some edges. The stock spoiler looks really out of place with all of your swooping lines all over the place. Your lines are really graceful and the stock spoiler is kinda bland.

Visteon! :cover:

Okay;

I haven't done "fun" Photoshops in a LOOOOONG time, so I thought I'd have a crack at it. Here's tha back, with a doal Borla with CF tips (not that you can tell, though):

I think it looks kinda large and empty, to tell you the truth.

ill work on the chops for you tonight brian. it shouldnt be too bad. shaving is one of the easiest things to do.

i say keep a spoiler. but not the one you have. shave the rear wiper and squirter, and antenna and all that garbage.

By the way, have a look at THIS (http://cougardb.com/image.php?id=3084) and tell me it's not sweet...

That's a Roush wing, by the way.

no, thats a visteon wing i think.

this (http://www.cougardb.com/image.php?id=7526) is the roush wing.

thats a really good chop andy! but your right, its really empty. and it gives the cougar an even fatter ass than it already has lol.

You are correct. I was searching for both at the same time, and got my wires crossed... :goofy:

Thanks Andy, that's exactly what i was describing on the rear bumper. Only it won't be so wide. The cutouts for the exhaust will be a bit bigger, but that's close enough. I do agree, though, it does look bare. So i think i'll keep the spoiler. I think i'll end up going with the visteon, i think it'll be easier to find plus i think it looks better than the roush. I may even keep the indentation under the trunk lid to break things up a bit.

Not bad, except the "hump" will still be in the front bumper.

Yo Brian, lookin' good. She's really coming together and I like your plans.

My vote is you definitely need a wing, and I vote Visteon. The Visteon's lines flow better with your kit.

The Roush though will be easier to find IMHO, Bat Inc. was blowing them out for $99 (Ford's OEM wing from the XRs a Roush mold). That's where I got the Roush wing in my basement that's waiting for paint.
