Interested Cougar Owner

Hi, my name is Aaryk, I live in Syracuse
I drive a 2002 Laser Red 35th Ann. Ed. ATX.
I haven't done any mods, YET (other than tinting the windows and putting Diamond Gloss n the body) but i think I might want to do somethings to my car,
Namely a better stereo and a CIA and exhaust.

Anyhow,
I am interested in joining this chapter and meeting people who have Cougars with mods done so that I can see what I like.
I am wondering, do you have to have a modded car to join?
What ages are most of your members?
and is anyone gonna laugh at me for driving an ATX:rofl:?

so, please, let me know what i gotta do to become part of this,
I cannot make it to albany on the 22nd, because the 21st is my b-day and we're going to vermont for the weekend,
when will the next meet be, is it monthly?

The meetings are really held @ random and when everyone can mutually agree they want to get together, but can never decide what they want to-do once we get there :)

Welcome. Don't worry about the auto, some of us are stuck with it. We usually seem to hold meets every month during the summer but it does depend on when members can get together. If you want to make a couple hour drive come out to Niagara Falls on June 12, information is under the Can-Am thread.

Well, good news,
for me anyways,

I'm still wondering how old most of you guys are,
I'll be 30 tomorrow, so I'm guessing that I'll be among the older people there, hopefully not the oldest.

anyhow,
please try to ignore my retarded back window,
I had the car tinted thursday, and the place that did it say that they ran out of that shade of tint and had to order more,
so until wednesday, i've got a half tinted window, which really looks stupid, but other than that, i like the way it looks.

I'm looking forward to being there.

Most people are early to mid 20's in empire I believe, but at 30 you are by no means out of the loop. Many members are near you in age, and JamP, well, we won't mention his age... just that I'm the same age as his son :rofl:

Age doesn't matter, type of cougar doesn't matter, nothing really matters, except that it's a requirement for new members to send me a $100 sign-on fee :rofl: just kidding. I wouldn't mention the mods you are planning, because as you look around and see what others do to their cougars, and see deals come up in the for sale or wherever, your car is probably going to take a completely different route from where you originally wanted it. I know mine has.

Welcome to the group. I hope to see you at a meet sometime. I'm 25 myself. The board as a whole has an average age of about 24. Alot of ppl in the 30's and alot still not 20 yet. So it averages out pretty well. Most here are pretty mature nonetheless.
