I just bought a set of black VTech taillight covers.
I want them to be painted black, but I don't have any painting equipment,
what's the best way to get them done?
do places like Installations Unlimited paint little accents like that,
and would it really be worth the cost,
or is the a better way?
I don't know anybody close who could do it for me.

I just got done doing this! I would suggest giving it a try yourself. It was rewarding for me and they turned out pretty good i think. All you need to do is sand them to scuff them up, primer, paint, paint some more, paint some more, clear coat, and clear coat some more. Total cost of painting was like five bucks. You can get paint that works just fine at Wal Mart. My car is black too so you can check it out.....If you need any further help you can pm me and i'd be glad to help.

take it to any automotive body shop and drop them off and give them your paint code. My tail light covers were painted for 40 dollars and i have rio red paint + clear. They match my exterior color PERFECTLY! The best and easiest way out there, IMO
