Does anyone know the paint code of the radio bezel
http://skarra.com/svlp/Unmodified-Dash-Bezel.jpg
Or Do you know how i would go about finding out the paint code for the radio bezel.
I fabricated a LCD Monitor into the bezel and would like to match the color back to OEM.

Thanks for your reply.
Actually the center bezel is painted. The ABS plastic color is pretty close but there is a significant difference between the front and the back.
I have been to a couple paint shops and they wouldn't color match it using the machine becasue they said it doesn't work well for interior colors.
I have been quite active however in properly matching the paint.
I got to paints out of the 99 ford color chips book
Medium Patenum Metalic
Ford Color: M6663G
PPG: 35308
Which was very close but too dark
Light Charcoal Metalic
Ford Color: M6586G
Which was too light.
I then did a 55% / 45% (respective) mix and got pretty darn close. I happen to be a perfectionist and i think i can get closer. My girlfriend thinks it looks so close that i shouldn't bother trying other paints. My sister had a hard time telling the difference. The difference i notice is that this mixture has a cooler tone to it where as the original has a more warmer feel to it.
Needles to say i went back to my new friend and owner at the PPG shop and looked through the 2000 Ford color book. I found one that had the same warm feel to it and i am hoping to get a closer match.
A few notes about matching the texture and sheen.
I am really pleased with the results i achieved at matching the sheen and texture. After spraying the paint with the Preval (http://www.prp-porshop.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=PV&Category_Code=Supplies) i got a can of flat clear and dusted it with light coats. I then wetsanded it with 1000 grit to take the roughness off and to smooth it out. It turned out very good.
I am becoming a pro at painting. this has got to be my 10th time trying to match the color.
You might say that i am wasting my time and that i should just paint all of the trim peices a different color, thats fair but i will continue my quest.
I am going to try to get that paint and post the mfg number and ppg number. if not today by this weekend cause i will be spraying this weekend.
Thanks for any more input anyone has on this.
BTW the picture i origianlly posted shows up really dark. I will try to take a picture of the original and my custom fabricated peice this weekend

So premilinary results are in.
I got the new paint last night and did a test spray on a piece of plastic. This is the paint folks. It isn't 100% dead on match but it is 99% match. I will be happy with it.
I am sorry to say that i didn't write down the paint code or the name but i will be going back to the paint store this weekend and will get that information.

Looks like i found the right paint for the radio bezel.
It's called "Medium Dark Nuetral Metalic"
PPG: 37468
Ford: M7009G
I hope this code will help someone else out.

I respect your resolve and your eye, right out of highschool i worked for 5 years in a professional photo lab, i had to develope the eye for very very minute differences in color for printing. But i gotta say the grey is nice and all but if i get around to it im going to go with a nice metalic blue for all those lower interior peices.

I guess i am just lazy and didn't want to paint more than i had to. Also i wanted to keep the car as close to OEM as possible. WHen people get in my car they cant tell that my dash piece is not oem. They ask if it was a dealer option

not the best pics but just to give you an idea. I since painted the black bezel around the stock sunvisor to match the tan color of the ABC pillars
