View Full Version : Where to pull codes...

Just wondering if someone could let me know if there's a place I could/should go to in the GTA to get my Coug's ODBII codes, other than the dealership. Got an engine light today and my usual DTC 9201 was replaced with 9318. But I guess to make sure it is the alternator or the battery (which is still showing 14 in the self-diagnostics) I might as well pull all the codes and see if anything else is wrong.

Would appreciate any info. Thanks.

I'm around this weekend and I have a scanner. I'll be putting my engine together and in but if you drop by I'll see what I can do. I can always use an extra set of hands when it comes to dropping the engine back in too anyways.

BTW. I'm at Bayview & 407

I'm at Bayview & Aurora Road but I won't be around this weekend Sorry. See everyone lives so close we should have more Mod meets or cruise Nights?

Relax man. Its only the middle of May. The weather has been crappy until now. When summer finally rolls around, we'll have plenty of meets. Not too worry. :)

Thanks Evan. I might take u up on your offer if Ajay doesn't call me. And no problem I'll be glad to help, just let me know when, so I'm free.

As for the Cruise Nights, that actually sounds pretty good. I enjoyed the drive at last years CanAm and think it would be pretty cool to drive around T.O. after dark.

Try me again this weekend. Car is up and running again for the time being. Just have to work out issues with a few more parts before I'm back at it

Watch out.....

Pulling codes only gives you a general area where the problem exists, it won't tell you the root cause.
