My cable shift assembly that is located under the airbox and has two walking beams one large one small. The large one decided to shear of the stud that it pivots on. The part costs 209 dollars. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find this part. I looked high and low and couldn't find one on the net. The part number for the stud (I am assuming it's a ford P/N) is 7439. and the two 7F109 washers, one 7288 washer, the walking beam with black counter weight is 7K336 and the nut to hold it all is W702899-5309. If anyone has the old assembly from a bum tranny or tranny swap or whatever I wish to make a deal. The nomenclature for this part (from what mercury printed out) is Transaxle manual gearshift - cableshift 5/s. I own a 2002, 2l, 5speed cougar. Anyone that can help I greatly appreciate it. Thanks
